If you are up for any kind of South Indian or Kerala food, then Theeram is the place you are looking for.
A small place located in Santacruz east which has its own speciality of Kerala food. One of the places where you will be getting authentic South Indian and kerela food.
The place is not that big but the way food is prepared and served is really amazing.
It is mainly famous for its sea food curries, egg biryani and the unlimited thali they serve.
It gives you the taste of south which is very nice and subtle. The food tastes like home made as the spices and all is less, so is the Oil put into it.
It has a non-ac as well as an AC section.
The food is also very affordable as it is not that expensive.
The unlimited thali starts at 75 rs going upto 96rs.
It is a treat for Non - vegetarians.
The food we ordered was:-
1) Unlimited thali (VEG)
2) Surmai molly which is a prawns dish
3) Appam
4) Kerela parotha
5) Coconut juice.
6) Dahi Kadhi
The waiters have a good knowledge about the food and suggestion they gave was good too.
The ambience is decent, upstairs is a small, bit cosy place.
Food was so good.
